Tim McNulty:

Chris Brennan at the Daily News reports that Philadelphia-area attorney Dan McCaffrey is dropping out of the three-way Democratic race for state Attorney General. McCaffrey had the support of US Rep. Bob Brady, but was having trouble distancing himself from fellow Irishman (and former congressman) Patrick Murphy as well as former Lackawanna County assistant DA Kathleen Kane.

I was never that excited about McCaffrey, although I did like his message about investigating foreclosure fraud. I like Kane and Murphy pretty equally, but unless Murphy really distinguishes himself on some policy issue I care about, I’m inclined to support Kane.

Who do you like? Where are you McCaffrey supporters going to go now?
