Over at the conservative PA Independent site, Eric Boehm characterizes this statement from Bob Casey as a “rebuke” of President Obama:
“Everyone knows that when someone builds a business, and it is successful, it is successful for a variety of reasons,” he said. “One of the reasons they are successful is that they work hard.”
The only way this counts as a “rebuke” of the President is if you think Obama was really saying that business owners didn’t build their businesses.
But since that’s clearly not what Obama was saying, it’s not a rebuke. There’s just nothing in Bob Casey’s statement for Obama to dispute. What’s the disagreement supposed to be?

Jon, if they can’t figure out how to drive a pronoun, why would they be able to look up “rebuke”?
“Display of cowardice” would be far more accurate!
