I haven’t studied the 1850s congress. I would guess that one was worse, but I am not too certain. Also, the congress around the 1890s until Teddy Roosevelt was all about the 1%. They may have been worse, but I’m not the historian to judge that one either.
But to a man in his 40s like I am, this sure seems like the worst congress ever.
