Dumbass just couldn’t help himself:
“I know in your mind you can think of the times America was attacked,” said Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.), a freshman.
“One is December 7 — that is Pearl Harbor Day. Another was September 11 — that was the day of the terrorist attack.
“I want you to remember August 1, 2012 — the attack on our religious freedom. That is a date that will live in infamy, along with those other dates.”
I think it goes without saying that the practical impact of free birth control – greatly improved health outcomes and personal freedom for women – is not like the practical impact of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor – hundreds of innocent people being violently murdered.

What kind of district is this? Swing? Heavily GOP?
R+3. Obama won it in 2008, but it got about 3 points more Republican in redistricting.
How do you figure? The DPI dropped less than a point (48 to 47.2) and the democrats still hold a 12,500 voter advantage. This is a district that was won by a D in 2008 that has an incumbent who hasn’t raised a lot of money but has (and continues to make) a lot of enemies.
Was going off of this http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2011/12/14/in_pennsylvania_the_gerrymander_of_the_decade_112404.html
Still a swing district. It picked up some of the more Democratic-leaning areas of the old PA4 (Lawrence and Mercer counties) and I think it also still includes the city of Erie.
This is pure insanity. Giving women access to health care is something we should have done long ago and comparing women’s health care to terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent men, women, and children is simply ridiculous. Rep. Kelly is the epitome of everything that is wrong with Congress and he must go! He is in a reelectionfight with democrat Missa Eaton, who is a strong, smart woman that looks like one of the most authentic candidates I’ve seen in a long time. Check her out at http://www.missaeatonforcongress.com and help her get rid of this disrespectful, out-of-touch tea party lunatic.
I’m ashamed to say this buffoon is my congressman. Vote him out in November!
Go, Missa Eaton! Kick Mike Kelly’s big, ugly butt on November 6.
I thought Texas had the corner on dumb asses in office( see Rick Perry, who put the goober in gubernatorial), but Mike Kelly holds his own with the good ol’ boys down here. After Missa whoops his butt, maybe he should consider movin’ on down to Texas and elevating the average I.Q of the Republican party of both Pennsylvania and Texas…
Into our lady business
