But I thought PA Republicans said the race was tied…

Mitt Romney has lost ground tp Barack Obama to the tune of 7 points since July. That’s according to the latest poll from Rasmussen Reports.

Obama lead Romney 51 percent to 39 percent in a survey conducted on Sept. 19. Obama had just a 4 point margin when Rasmussen polled the state in late July, 48 percent to 44.

When even a biased Republican pollster like Rasmussen has Obama up by this much, you know its over in Pennsylvania.

Susquehanna had it pretty close in its poll released the last day or two.

      Was that the GOP internal?

      • phillydem says:

Not sure, Jon. I saw it on dailykos’ polling round up. I know Susquehanna is a GOP-friendly outfit, though.

        • Jon says:

Yeah, they put out an internal the other day to try to change the conversation, which had Obama up only 1 point. All the other polls have had him up at least 6, so I don’t trust.

IIRC, in the Santorum-Casey senate contest, Susquehanna put up some polls that showed the race much closer than it was. I agree they’re a partisan pollster and I usually view their results with a grain of salt.
