Do the Progressive’s useful idiots understand Rep Metcalfe and others who supported the Voter ID were honoring their oaths of office by working on behalf of the expressed interests of the majority of Pennsylvanians (and Americans) who strongly supported Voter ID? Thus, Daryl Metcalfe is one of the very few elected officials who actually does earn his salary. You may want to compare his efforts to that of Brady, Thomas, Chaka Fattah, Nutter, Ramsey, Williams, and others in PHL.
Do the reality show watching Progressive Parrots comprehend the very people who have dumbed them down are the same who circumvented the will of the people?
Many Americans supported segregation when it was the law of the land, but that doesn’t mean it was morally or ethically the right thing to do. Kathleen3, one of the most important safeguards we have is our right to vote and that vote belongs to everyone, not just those who could stand in line at PennDOT for hours and hours, or who didn’t have birth certificates from the Jim Crow South (just two examples). You are right, the majority of people support Voter ID, and for most of us, getting an ID is no big deal. For the small minority of people who faced difficulty in obtaining an ID, some of whom are elderly and have been voting for 50 or 60 years, are you okay with them being disenfranchised? I’m not okay with that and obviously the Supreme Court and Judge Simpson of the Commonwealth Court weren’t okay with that. PS I have never watched a reality show in my life. But I do honor the Constitution and the right to vote is guaranteed in it.
The biggest “takers” in the Commonwealth? Our overpaid and oversized legislature. These arrogant weasels work about a week a year lording it over the rest of us, lining their pockets at taxpayer expense.
