Everybody seems to think you need $1 million to compete in this race, so this is pretty significant. Donors are betting with their dollars that Bill Peduto will be the next Mayor:
Bill Peduto’s mayoral campaign announced today that it had passed the half-million fundraising mark, though it’s unclear how much cash it has to spend.
The camp raised $329,671 through the end of December and after spending had $261K on hand. We’re not due another look at official finance reports until May 10, 11 days before the Democratic primary.
