Besides the theme of Kathleen Kane continuing to be a highly impressive public servant, the other big takeaway from this story is that the Turnpike Commission is a crazy accountability-free zone and needs to get folded into PennDOT as soon as possible.

I think Kathleen Kane is doing a great job, but I think it’s unbalanced to give her the lion’s share of the credit for a 44-month investigation. She certainly deserves credit for finishing and actually bringing the indictments, but something should be said for the work Tom Corbett (maybe) and Linda Kelly (definitely) (and their staffs) did on this case.
Totally fair point. Might be overdoing it on plumping for Kane
