An incumbent Mayor presiding over one of 3 major cities in America that’s experiencing an economic recovery, that’s routinely the subject of “comeback” genre articles in national and international media, was going to be an extremely difficult politician to unseat.
And now, just like that, he’s not even going to contest the seat.
