The One Question Every GOP Lawmakers Needs to Be Asked

Greg Sargent:

But there’s still one question that I’d like to see posed to Boehner and every GOP lawmaker. It’s this: Is there any ratio of entitlement cuts to new revenues that Republicans could support, and if so, what is that ratio?

Everybody in the media seems to be assuming there’s some deal that the Republicans would accept that includes more revenues. But what if there’s not? All signs seem to point to there being no possible deal, and yet many media organizations won’t go there. If that’s the actual dynamic of the fiscal debate, then the coverage should look very different.
