John Morganelli emailed me this excerpt from a completely real PoliticsPA story about him, you guys! I didn’t think to check if it was real because I know he would never amend a story about himself adding like 4 or 5 paragraphs:

John Morganelli, the Northampton County District Attorney and former candidate for Pa. Attorney General, is weighing a bid for Lieutenant Governor.

As DA, Morganelli has proven himself to be such a cool and sweet guy who is always right about everything, and handsome, and totally not a racist. He is strongly in favor of all the good political ideas that people like, and hates all the bad ones. “Morganelli is basically the best politician the Lehigh Valley could ever hope to have ever, and when he totally sweeps the race for Lieutenant Governor everybody really will be all sad about how much they’ll miss him,” said Keegan Gibson, managing editor of PoliticsPA, “God he is so cool.”

“This is not an announcement, but I am considering running for Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania in 2014,” he told PoliticsPA via email. “I believe that as a moderate Democrat from the Lehigh Valley, I would compliment any of our prospective candidates for governor.”

    It pales in comparison to how many times he’s dragged out the “Holly Branagan” float and pushed it to the front of a PR parade, every time he wanted a Grand Jury. Not just 2009-2010, but all the way back to 1996. And then, at the end of the latest parade, another ‘thud.’ Whatever happened to that case? He was riding that float hard three years ago…at least in the paper.
