Val Arkoosh, one of the four candidates vying to replace Allyson Schwartz in the 13th Congressional district, will be hosting a fundraiser in Washington D.C. next week. The invitation, which Keystone Politics received a copy of Tuesday night, describes the event as a “Reception Welcoming Val to Washington for her First House Call to D.C.”
The reception will be held on the rooftop terrace of The Glover Park Group, a communications consulting firm, at 1025 F Street, NW. The terrace features panoramic views of various D.C. monuments.
The location is a popular venue for Democratic candidates including Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, John Dingell, and Jim Clyburn.
Arkoosh, a physician, will face former Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies, State Senator Daylin Leach, and State Representative Brendan Boyle in the Democratic primary election next year.
