First Debate of PA-12 Democratic Primary Set for May 12th

Share With Friends

The Twelfth District’s Democratic primary candidates, Erin McClelland and John Hugya, are set to meet for a public debate on May 12th from 7pm until 8:30pm in Heritage Hall at the University of Pittsburgh- Johnstown. The debate will be moderated by Professor Ray Wrabley, who my UPJ alum friends report is “the man.”

Admission is free and open to the public, and all interested citizens are encouraged to attend. All questions will be formulated by the moderator, and candidates will only be permitted to have a podium, a microphone, a glass of water, a note pad and a pen.

The winner of the Democratic primary will go on to face incumbent GOP Congressman Keith Rothfus in the November election.

Keystone Politics has endorsed Erin McClelland in the race, along with many, many, many, many, many other left-leaning groups.
