From KDKA: The Westmoreland County district attorney’s office has filed charges against State Sen. Bob Regola in connection with the death of his teenaged neighbor.

Earlier this month, the Westmoreland County coroner ruled the death of Louis Farrell, 14, a suicide. Farrell was found dead behind his Hempfield Township home last July with the senator’s guy nearby.

Now, District Attorney John Peck is pursuing charges against Regola.

KDKA’s Mary Berecky has learned that Regola will be arraigned tomorrow on charges including recklessly endangering another person, possession of a firearm by a minor, perjury and false swearing.
