Pennsylvania Progressive reports that Phil English can expect a new challenger in 2008 (not that weird professor dude). Mike Waltner is from Erie and will run against English. (And look, we’ve even broken the habit of referring to him solely as “Fat Phil”!)

Phil English’s stand on healthcare alone should get him bounced from office- He lied during a debate against his last competitor about the amount of money given to him by the insurance lobbyists- It’s no wonder he is against Universal healthcare when his pockets are lined by the lobbyists supporting the healthcare insurance industry-he is an embarassment to the people of the 3rd district and should be ashamed of his record in congress- How he keeps getting elected is amazing!!!!!
