Hackett Says Happy 4th, Beijing!

Sources tell us that good ole’ Chris Hackett had a great time supporting American Values at the Independence Day parade in Montrose. He even brought American Flag pins to give out to supporters!

Except they were made in China. Mr. Hackett, your patriotism shines through once again! Nice work.

I'd Happily Read a Bible Printed in Hell If it was Well Done

If you ever have another urge to post such a petty and stupid article, please restrain yourself from doing so. One could decry the wanton distribution of flag pins as crass and insincere patriotism that preys upon a worrying latent nationalism in the people of the United States, but what you have done seems empty of importance and very banal.

American jobs

Well for someone who touts American jobs and patriotism, it seems like he doesn’t walk the talk. At all.

Cost

“I’d Happily Read a Bible Printed in Hell if it was well done”

Would you feel the same way if the Bible printed in hell took away jobs in Heaven and they had to close the Gates?

I’m sure Hackett would be happy to provide some Temp workers to Satan at half the cost…

Not necessarily empty

You said it yourself, “Crass and insincere patriotism.” It is important to know the character of our congressional candidates.

China is a Free trading partner

China is a free trade partner. Bill Clinton made sure of that. Oh, he signed NAFTA, also. And what’s wrong with China. There’s no racism here I hope.

I’d prefer a American Flag pin made in China to a nuclear bomb made in Iran.

Hackett

Does this really surprise anyone. He’s a wanna-be politician and he’s showing he has what it takes. Always just smoke and mirrors. Handing out flag pins to make an impression, but ignoring the details of where they were made. More right-wing propaganda. He was probably ranting about his stance on abortion and the second amendment. All the stuff that matters to the radiacal right. Personally, I feel these pins are a joke, regardless of where they are made. With all the problems we face as a nation, these pins get everyone’s attention. George Bush always wears his pin—enough said.
