Dan Meuser loves the Dems! Hat tip to Danny Bauder and Bill Fitz. Update: There’s a bit more to this story – see the comments.
NEPA Blogger Danny Bauder has discovered that Dan Meuser the establishment choice to run against Congressman Chris Carney in 2008 has recently donated money to Democrats such as Hillary Clinton. I did some more research myself, and I discovered he gives a lot of money to a lot of Democrats across the country and the state.Now what does this all mean? Basically anyone supporting Dan Meuser should drop him now. I know with Marino out he is the establishment choice, but it seems he also entrenched in the Democratic establishment. The establishment should team up with the grassroots conservative movement and support Dave Madeira for this seat. Dave has proven he can do well without their help, but with their help he can steam role Chris Carney in November 2008.
Anyone know what Meuser's story is?
What’s up with this guy? He donates to Democrats but wants to run as a Republican? It seems to me like a case of opportunism.

This is not true. Scott Meuser gave to Hillary Clinton and Harry Ford Jr as well as other Democrats, not Dan Meuser. Dan Meuser is the one thinking about running for Congress. Please be advised, this is false.
I'd consider retracting, but they love Charlie Rangel
I’d consider retracting, because you’re partially correct, but it’s important to note that they all give to Charlie Rangel. Also, I assume that Dan Meuser has some control over the Pride Mobility PAC, which also gives to Democrats.

I would appreciate if you could at least change the title so as to not be too deceiving. When people read that, it could do damage. Not telling you what to do, just want to keep good coverage on this blog and others.

This is just getting silly
Wow, it’s amazing how a few people with too much time on their hands (in other words, get a job guys) can start a story filled with half truths and keep fanning the flames to make it look valid. Businesses often donate to legislators who work towards the same goals as the company. In the case of Pride I’m guessing it’s legislators who want to see disabled Americans have the ability to move around freely without relying on others. Apparently unused degrees of a political nature and posting on blogs every night don’t really educate you in the ways of the real world. Nor do they qualify you to give advice to the public. Maybe the people putting you guys up to all of this could sit down with you some day and explain the ways of the world. We can take any candidate and put their name in this story and post it without any responsibility.
Facts
I know Mr. Meuser. He used to call me a good friend, then fired me. Not bitter about that as it lead to better things. I will now knowingly trust anyone who is unfaithful or conditionally faithful to employees and his own family.

So you want us to believe an employer would take a trustworthy, reliable “friend” of an employee who is helping his business and family income thrive and simply WHAM! fire him for absolutely no reason at all… and then have to waste enormous amounts of money advertising the position, holding several interviews, training someone new from scratch along with accepting the low productivity inherent in a brand new employee… and all this just for kicks to fire someone who trusted him?
OR we can believe that maybe you weren’t actually a reliable or trustworthy employee.

I worked directly under Dan Meuser, also, and I can attest to the monstrous ego and unjustifiable verbal abuse, temper tantrums, and searing arrogance he is capable of. Most of the time, you could not see it coming. Pride Mobility was a great company to work for in many respects – unless you had the misfortune of being in the direct line of fire of the brothers Meuser. And as far as possessing “family values second to none” — Dan Meuser???? Please.
All in all, a good day at work with the Meusers was when you only had to watch some other shlub get the **** kicked out of him.
