SUSA (PA-04): Altmire (D-I) 54, Hart (R)42

In a poll commissioned by Roll Call Newspaper, SUSA has incumbent Jason Altmire ahead of former Congresswoman Melissa Hart 54-42 in PA-04.
The 4th covers most of Beaver County and parts of Lawrence, Allegheny and Butler counties.

Both candidates hold about the same percent of their base, but Altmire leads 50-41 among self-describe independents.

If Obama wins, we’re

If Obama wins, we’re better off with more Republicans to balance out the big-spending that Mr. Obama and his supporters will push through.

Keep dreaming

There are going to more Dems in the House and Senate than ever after this election.

If Mellisa Hart wins...

She will be in the minority party, and nothing but an ineffective whiner.

Hart's been very quiet in the 4th

I live in the 4th and I haven’t seen any TV ads or heard radio spots for Hart yet. I haven’t gotten any mailings either. There are barely even any yard signs up for her, at least here in my corner of Beaver County. I haven’t seen any calls for debates between her and Altmire or schedules if debates were already agreed upon.

Maybe she’s saving whatever money she has for a last minute blitz, but so far hardly a peep.

Altmire’s been sending mailers and I’ve seen a few TV spots.

Hart is now on TV....

She went up with a spot this week and I’ve seen a rash of yard signs (and I mean rash literally …) in Allegheny County.

Her TV is a mashup of images BrabenderCox has used before for several other clients, which tells me that they didn’t have the budget to shoot anything new for her, so they are just recycling footage and ideas. No surprise there….

I wonder if Altmire has an

I wonder if Altmire has an opinion on the recent happenings at the Shuman detention center?

You pay for altmire mailings

you never noticed that your congressman is always more interested in sharing his “accomplishments” as your rep. right around sept/oct of even years? It’s called Franking. Taxpayer funds used to cover the cost of printing and mailing “important information” to constituents. Too bad they forget that’s what they’re to do until this time of year. No wonder incumbents get reelected 90% of the time. we fund it.
