Piccola a Hypocrite on P.I. Hiring?

I believe this has NOT been mentioned in previous coverage of Piccola’s current probe of the film lobbying flap. From Centre Daily Times columnist Russ Eshleman:

When I arrived in Harrisburg in the mid-‘80s, the town was embroiled in “Granite-gate,” a House Democratic investigation into allegations that the Republican administration of Gov. Dick Thornburgh had overpaid for the Vermont granite used in the $124 million construction of the East Wing addition at the Capitol. ...

Ironically, a Republican House member who was especially critical of that investigation was Jeffrey Piccola, now the Republican senator leading the charge on the movie-making tax credits.
