Clinton's lead holding in Pennsylvania

Hillary Clinton continues to lead Barack Obama by a double-digit margin in Pennsylvania, drawing on her strength among older, less-educated, white voters, according to a new poll of the Democratic primary match-up in the state.

Clinton holds a 52 percent-36 percent lead over Obama in the survey, by Quinnipiac University. It is the first poll released since political observers began looking toward Pennsylvania’s April 22 primary as a potentially significant contest on the Democratic side.

In prospective general election match-ups, Clinton leads probable GOP nominee John McCain among state voters — 46 percent to 40 percent. Obama and McCain are in a virtual dead-heat, the poll found.

Go Hillary! Obama a dreamer of words "beware"

It’s amazing to me that people are voting for “Obama” someone that does not follow our country’s traditions, no hand during the pledge, “a Muslim past”. It’s kind of scary to see how someone can give such wonderful speeches and the media can be so biased of Hillary and he gets a free ride with free media coverage, just crazy… he’s a dreamer without any substance and HOPE is not going to change this countrys direction based on WORDS.

Great job, Hillary on your win in New Mexico! Continue to campaign and reinforce to the average American worker that Obama continues to give invigorating speeches, but has never provided a plan to improve health care. Also, he has never addressed the high gas prices, heating bills, grocery bills. I applaud Obama for motivating speeches but we need someone who will produce and who actually has a plan to help the middle class struggling families. The term “Change” is only a word if you don’t have a plan!

WAKE UP TEXAS, WE HAVE SOME WORK TO DO….OBAMANIA IS A FALSE HOPE THAT SPELLS TROUBLE…….

“OBAMA” is a Republican in a donkey suit.

Do your research as to who’s zooming who “a lion in sheep’s clothing”
Obama, Clinton Donating Heavily to Superdelegates’ Campaigns
by Associated Press
Thursday, February 14, 2008
The study tracked donations received by members of Congress from the candidates’ leadership PACs and from their candidate committees. It tracked donations made to governors by examining the presidential candidates’ expenditures.
Among the findings:
— Since 2005, Obama’s committees gave $228,000 to superdelegates who have endorsed him, $363,900 to those who were still undecided, and $102,400 to those who have endorsed Clinton.
–Clinton’s committee’s gave $95,000 to superdelegates who have endorsed her, $88,000 to those who were still neutral, and $12,500 to those who have endorsed Obama.

Thank you for the smear

Thank you Hillary operative for starting a smear campaign. This is representative of why I voted for Obama (I moved from Lancaster to NJ 6 months ago), I consider the tone of the campaign to be indicative of the character of the cantidate and at least as important as any positions that he / she holds.

That Guy Was Too Harsh, But I'd Still Go With Hillary

Obama is inspiring, but he has never had to face the kind of negative politics he is sure to face in November if he is the nominee. It takes more than hope to fight the Republicans in a presidential election. And if his attitude during the debates is any indication, his responses are harsh and condescending, and he does not come across as likable when he is faced with criticism of his policies or his character. I’d have to go with Hillary.

Plus, Hillary has been just as big of a fighter for civil and human rights as Barack Obama. Check this video out.

Obama's Inspiration in Hope and Change

I am facinated by Obama’s inspirational speeches. The question I have is, what hope is he talking about? What change is he talking about. It looks like there is no material to back up what he stands for and what he is promising to America. It looks like Jimmy Carter all over again with lots of hope and change and nowhere to go.

The Pied Piper Campaign

I also live in NJ…I voted for Hillary Clinton, as did the majority of the voters in this state. She has not waged a smear campaign, people are free in the USA to form their own opinions, with the FACTS presented. It is a fact that Obama was a Muslim until he was 26 years old…we have a right to know that. His supporters and media follow blindly, his powerful speeches that really say nothing but are inspirational and uplifting, especially to the young impressionable masses…and they follow him like the Pied Piper. I personally find it alarming. Hillary Clinton has the experience and knowledge to turn this country around, and correct the wrongs that have been done during the Bush administration, and bring back prosperity to the USA and good will around the world.

sad

“It is a fact that Obama was a Muslim until he was 26 years old…we have a right to know that.”

First, who cares? Second, it’s really sad that we have to have a conversation about something refuted months ago on all networks but Fox. Speaking of matters over which we have a right to know, how about tax filings? With that $5 million loan given to the campaign, it’s time to disclose how the Clintons earned their money? PA just passed a major overhaul to its open records laws. If camp Clinton had any ear for political dynamics, it would know that transparency is all the rage right now in PA.

The only Pied Piper this young voter sees is what appears to be a coordinated effort by the Clinton campaign to come across the Delaware River (and onto KP) with their business as usual smears and distortions. I see that one of the Garden State Super Delegates recently jumped ship Clinton. The sound of super delegates jumping ship is the noise that should really be alarming Camp Clinton and its supporters, not the sweet sounds of a movement inspired by hope.

you are sad

You are sad. It does matter that Obama was a Muslim till 26 years old. He tries to act like he wasn’t. He also said that he never heard Wright spew those hateful racist words looking straight at the camera as he lied. The next week he said, on camera, that he heard him say those hateful words once or twice, whatever. Point is he lied. Next week he will probably admit to a little more of the truth. Hoping perhaps that a little here and a little there will dull the pain of the full truth. Too late. Damage done. People are definitely taking a second look at this person who will not divulge his real thoughts. He will not even answer hard questions directly. He just changes the subject. I swear this man has hiring Pres. Bush’s people. The Spin Masters!

He also said that Rev. Wright introduced him to the Christian religion. Not the best person to do that it would seem after watching his sermons. He must have given Obama a distorted view with his opinions which is obvious when he threw his own grandmother under the bus. What must she be saying and thinking about this? He has ruined her reputation. Pick on someone your own size Obama. I will vote for Ralph Nader if I have to keep this serial liar, who puts a hateful idea out there and says it is Hilary’s or Bill’s fault, out of the White House. Give up waffler Obama.

This is an R in Clinton cover

This is the same smear being send around to Republican and has been debunked so many time, but if you need to hear the real Truth one more time read this http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/obama.asp

How nice it would be to have a truthful, honest political discussion. What are you afraid of?

Being from Quebec, I look

Being from Quebec, I look at Barak and see a very nice African Man who lived all over the place but is not an American. Sorry but perhaps you guys see something else. Anyway he sure does not show the great patriotism I see in most Americans.

"Go Hillary! ... Obama a Dreamer..."

Please save us from fawning praise for this “Hillary Clone” of the same Bill Clinton who stood with Republican members of Congress against his own Democratic Party in order to shove the NAFTA Agreement down the throats of American workers, destroying hundreds of thousands of U.S. jobs, including many thousands held by African-Americans.
Some “first black president” indeed!
Democrats are sick of this “dual dynasty” of “Bush…Clinton…Bush…Clinton.”
Are we the United States Of America or a another pathetic banana republic?
A further reason to oppose Hillary’s nomination is the near absolute certainty that her election will polarize this nation far beyond the present dismal situation in which nothing is accomplished other than meaningless in-fighting between the Congress and the Executive.
While aware that Barack Obama is somewhat unseasoned and will need to go through a learning phase early on in his first term (as did JFK), I am also aware that America needs someone who has the potential to be a uniter. The last thing we need is another divisive leader like Bush…unless we wish to see this nation Balkanized and torn asunder.

Obama

Obama hasn’t sold his soul to special interests (and God knows what else) like the Clinton’s, whose souls have been morgaged uncountable times. People can unite behind Obama from both sides of the aisle because his plan to give the tax breaks to American companies that keep jobs here and the plan to end the war in Iraq as quick as possible fit fiscal conservatives, moderates, and liberals alike. His idea of talking to our enemies is also an idea of a new kind of America where we’re not the bad guys. Hillary’s behavior during this last 3 months of the campaign definitely shows how desperate and low she will go to grab power, and that she cares more about herself than America or her party’s chances in this next election. The thing you said about Obama’s questionable “Muslim past” shows that you are one of the anonymous Clinton hit squad members who have perpetuated the lies that 1. he won’t say the pledge of allegience 2. he takes oaths on the Koran 3. he’s anti- Isreal 4. that he doesn’t publish any specifics to his speeches. Why not put your name out there anonymous?
I’ll tell you why. You are a propagandist for the Clintons, but just in case Obama wins you don’t want anybody to know you wrote this so maybe you can get a job in the Obama administraion too. Lastly, Obama wants everybody to have input on the national health care plan by letting everybody watch them come up with the plan on C-span and be able to have input. Hillary has so many enemies that I think it is very unlikely that she can get anything through Congress, and I sight as an example her last bid for universal health care that went down in flames. Why would it be any different now? —David Denes

He has not sold his soul?

Well…. It seems like you did not have to wait a long time to get a reply to your statement. How naive can some people be.

need your vote,

pensylvania hillary needs your VOTE. I have already cast my vote for her here in pensacola fl! Go hillary!!!

No more clintons

Frankly, I’m tired of the Bushes and the Clintons. 20 years of no progress, political bickering and partisanship. No thanks.

Here’s one voter in PA voting for Obama.

LV

i am with you

no more bushes and no more clintons. stop the monarchy.

Wrong target

I don’t believe it’s the bushes or clintons…more the term after term of the same Senators and Congressmen. That’s the real monarchy.

Monarchy????

It seems to me you don’t understand much about monarchy. I hope you are not just another sheep.

Hello Monarchy???

You are dumb. It seems you can’t tell when someone is just making a point. I think you are an Obama fan. When is he going to start his rock group? No wait, he can’t even dance.

This is the reason I love

This is the reason I love this blog.Take a long hard look back over the last two decades, progressive somewhat, stale at times, but always some type of crisis. WE have changed Presidents,Congress, been to war twice, oil and gas prices, housing market slump. One of the Presidents had there hands on ben hiden before 911, so please don’t give me this crap about Obama.I am a conservative white male, and if we are going to inact change let us go all the way.It will come down to our state, one chance in a lifetime to be the hero, or the goat.We will always have Hillary, but a chance like Obama for one term,we have nothing to lose.

Nothing to lose???

We have everything to lose because we have everything too loose. Don’t you see it? Maybe you have something loose too?

Partisan Politics

The president and both houses must put partisan politics aside and work toghether for the greater good of this nation. Until that time it really doesn’t matter which individual occupies the oval office.

Indeed…Until the House

Indeed…Until the House and Senate begin to do the job they have been elected to do ( that’s the key word here…elected not earned ) it really doesn’t matter who the President is. Obama my be able to whip up the crowds with inspiring speeches, but that doesn’t work in House chambers or out on the Senate floor. The House & Senate are full of great speakers. Bringing this government back to its full responsibilities will not come from a new President, but from those members within the House & Senate. The American people need to spend as much time looking at local elections and who might make their way into a House or Senate seat, as they do who might make it to President. Only when we start scrutinizing from the bottom up, will real change occur.

insulting demographics, will they stand?

We are now being told uniformly in almost all polls, and national and local media, that Hillary Clinton is going to depend on the votes of seniors citizens and uneducated whites in Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania to achieve victory, and possibly Latinos of middle age and older. It may be true, it may be media spin, but I think once it sinks in and hits sentient and decent seniors and working class folks, they are going to resent it and do a gut check to see where they are at. Choose a brilliant and capable woman, or an energetic young man, or a tough and true hero with the most
experience in Washington. But do it on your terms, and not
because you may be older, or poorer, or white, this simply is
not a dish that any American should be force fed a single bite of.

Women victims -- need woman power

Let a woman take the bully pulpit
to deal with women victims and women aspirations
at home and abroad

You said it, and I second.

If you are smart, you will vote for a woman. “The place of a woman is the house, the White House”.

Obama is a new Politician(???)

Now I can confirm why I did not trust this man. I have always had a good nose to smell when something does not sound/look right. At the beginning of the primaries, I had an open mind for all the candidates. After listening to all the debates, I made the decision that I could trust only one of the candidates to be the best President of USA. That candidate is Hillary Clinton. Obama is a new politician, in a way he is. He says he is not going to play a dirty campaign, and he does not. HE DOES NOT BECAUSE HIS CAMPAIGN DOES IT FOR HIM. He says he is for unity and change, and yet he is the member of a church that is divisive and offers no change to the unification of blacks and whites. How can Obama say that Reverend Wright was his mentor, and then he says that he does/did not support his Pastor’s opinion, He gives a speech, that is considered a great speech only by his followers/supporters, and he goes back to business. Senator Obama, these shoes are TOO BIG for you, you are not walking well at all. What will happen when you have to run in those shoes?

Uniter? Not!

Interesting how whenever someone in politics says they are the uniter not the divider, and then they divide everyone. Bush did it. Now Obama has done it as well and is still doing it while trying to make it seem like Clinton is the one. Wake up and stop looking at Obama with rose colored glasses!

Blogging for Truth

Hello! I just have to say that Hilary can thank her lucky stars that the “TRAITOR RICHARDSON” showed his true colors and endorsed Obama. What sane person would welcome an opportunistic, traitoristic and self serving person to endorse them? How could you trust that person!!! He says that he is sick of her campaign with the gutter politics? Then he goes with the worse side of the gutter politcs? Makes no sense. Nonsense. He just wants to be V.P. or Secretary of State. He has ruined his career in my eyes and everyone should make note of this.

Obama is magnetic

Obama is a breath of fresh air and his positions are very similar to Hillary’s. He is a charasmatic, smart, exciting leader that can take us on into a new and refreshing place. The young people feel the change. Don’t be afraid to listen to him. He is a capable and gifted man who can lift this country up.
How could you not see this.
