Barack is expected to “easily carry” Philadelphia? I hadn’t read this anywhere else…
Michael Nutter, this city’s newly installed black mayor, is not wavering in his support for Hillary Clinton, even though her rival Barack Obama is expected to easily carry Philadelphia in Pennsylvania’s Democratic presidential primary.Nutter, a reform-minded former city councilman who took office in January, endorsed Clinton in December while she was the front-runner.
Since then, Obama’s bid to become the first black president has garnered more votes, more delegates and more donations than the New York senator’s equally historic bid to become the first female president.
Philly is about 1/2 black and 1/2 white
In previous primaries he has won the African-American vote by landslides and at worst held Hillary to narrow wins among white voters.

Senator Clinton is the better choice for PA and the country. Our next president has huge challenges and major problems to address. We need a fighter, a really hard worker, someone who knows all the players both here and internationally, someone who thoroughly understands the problems and the possible solutions. I like listening to Senator Obama, but I don’t see him as someone who will deliver in the incredibly difficult environment our next president will be working in. We need Hillary Clinton.

Nutter’s endorsement is not surprising, because Obama endorsed Nutter’s opponent, Chaka Fattah, in the 2007 mayoral primary.
Also, Nutter is a DLCer (Democratic Leadership Council) like Joe Lieberman and the Clintons, a group that tends to be anti-labor and pro-war.
The DLC is the group that gave us NAFTA, new accounting laws that led to the Enron scandal, and the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which is destroying American media by allowing it to be owned by a handful of powerful corporations:

Know Your History
Your argument doesn’t hold up much. First, the Telecommunications Act was written and enforced under a Republican President and voted for in 1996 to be extended under a Republican Congress. So tell me again how Clinton has anything to do with it? You are fool and using legislation jargon to make yourself important or appear to be an informed voter.
You also mentioned “Clintons.” So you also don’t know your history either? Hello, only one Clinton was in office during that time. So try to stick to the facts when trying to make an argument. Contrary to popular belief, Hillary wasn’t running the country at that time. The Republicans were running (or rather trashing) our country.
Finally, your view on NAFTA is so one sided. You can take whatever you want but the fact is that it has helped alot of communities and our economy. You want to complian about something, then look our relations with China and the Middle East. Poor Mexico! What next, let’s beat up on people with disabilities?
Hillary Clinton is the clear choice to win in November
Please do not waste your vote on Obama. He will not be able to dig himself out from under these latest scandals. The republicans will be all over plus Hillary is much stronger when it comes to the economy which McCain seems to know nothing about. Plus Obama’s education plan is the same as Bush’s. He believes in merit pay for teachers and we’ve seen how well that works with Bush’s No Child Left Behind Plan. Come on PA do the right thing.
education and scandals
First of all, Obama’s education plan is nothing like Bush’s. Go to his website and see for yourself. He believes in paying teachers more money for the work they do and making early childhood education more accessible and college more affordable.
Secondly, regarding those scandals, Clinton and the corporate media have thrown the kitchen sink at Obama, and he’s still leading in delegates won, states won, and he’s leading in most national polls. People see right through that stuff, and they’re also turned off by the negativity.

Obama hasn’t brought up any of this stuff. And I just wish Clinton and her supporters would stop trying to drag Obama through the mud, because he’s one of the brightest lights in the Democratic Party and it only helps John McCain. In the general election, we Democrats are going to have to fight FOR one another if we want to beat McCain.
You really need to take another look at his education plan
Merit pay for teachers is not different that what we have in place now. You are obviously not in education. He can’t attack her on anything because she’s already defended herself there is nothing new to bring up.
Obama doesn’t have a chance in the general election so again please do not waste your vote. Obama was slinging mud from the beginning but his supporters didn’t notice then and they stil don’t see it. Get a grip people.
Naive Voter
First and foremost when relying on how to back your argument, don’t quote Obama’s website as fact. You need to look to other sources before you make a stand on something. That’s what being an informed voter is all about. What do you expect them to say? No “he doesn’t know anything about education” or he has “no real plans or solutions for our educational system.” Really, do you believe everything his website will post? You probably still believe in Santa Clause too? Opps! Did I ruin it for you?!
Second you are right that he doesn’t mention any dirt on Hillary. That job is for his camp and his supporters. I know for a fact that many of his supporters will do anything to make sure he gets the nomination. The proof is in the caucausing in Texas. Obamers were so divisive and bullied the other camp that it reminded me of Bush and the campaign his people ran. Like the Bush camp, they used hate. Only this time its racism or reverse racism. You only need to look at his supporters to find out what kind of leader Obama is going to be. I say, “no thank you”. I already had a President like that. His name is G. Dubbya Bush.
Finally, you are right that he leads in delegates, but does that really make him the better candidate or better yet, the right person for the job? Really? That’s your lame argument. Bush led in delegates and won all kinds of primaries too. We need substance and experience from our leaders. Otherwise, you end up with another Bush. The only difference is that this time its a Democrat.
And news to your and to the other Obamers! You can’t win the election without Hillary supporters. So stop fighting fellow Democrats. We need to work together not fight eachother (that’s what the Republicans wants us to do — we are falling into their trap)! Why do you want to be part of a campaign that does that? Are you really afraid that without the cheap tactics you candidate can’t really win?
If we don’t learn to work together, I guarrantee you, Obama will win the nomination for Obama, but will loose the White House. And you get use to President McCain.
Delegates
I might agree but, if the delegates from FL were counted, he wouldn’t be leading. And by the way Hillary did not campaign there either.
Also, it seems that Hilliary is going to win the popular vote. Just like Gore did, when Bush stole the White house. If the party does not count the FL delegates as the vote went down (not a repeat), I will no longer be a democrat and furthermore I will vote for Nader.

Dear Gov. Dean and Democratic National Committee,
I appreciate the update email that you sent to me concerning the future of the Democratic Presidential candidate.
I look forward to the selection of our next President.
However, there are a few major issues that I want to speak about and I think you should take these problems seriously and DO something about the problems as well.
The first major issue that I’d like to point out is that the DNC is in the process of ALIENATING the Democratic voters in the states of Florida and Michigan by denying them the right to vote for their Presidential candidate of choice. This is not only un-Democratic and un-Constitutional, this is wholly Anti-American and unfair. I see that an attorney from FLA has opened suite today to fight for their rights, I’m not surprised. What a mess. Regardless of party rules, NO VOTING CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SHOULD BE DENIED THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE OF THEIR CHOICE. THIS IS A SHAME TO THE DNC, and in my opinion you should be doing more to ensure that every American get their right to vote.
The second major issue is that of a candidate that has displayed a level of AntiPatriotism and AntiAmericanism so damaging, he should be ejected immediately from the race for being the next President. The candidate I’m speaking of, as you probably already know, is Barack Obama. Obama’s association with those who seek to deliver our country unto the Apocalypse is only exceeded by the “audacity” of this individual’s underestimation of the Patriotism that Americans truly represent and believe in. Barack Obama is not a patriot and is an Anti-American to the core. This man cannot be our next president. Through subtle displays of AntiPatriotism and the finale of ultimate distrust, Barack Obama has displayed a pattern of his true Anti-American character. It is impossible for Obama to divorce himself from 20 years of sitting in the pews of a church and being good buddies with a pastor that seeks whole-heartedly to deliver our great country unto such hate and complete Anarchy. Shame on Obama for underestimating the patriotic will of America. No makeup speech can vouch for this complete and utter failure in judgement and disregard for America. Obama is FINISHED. Sometimes members of a campaign fail in their ambitions and cross the line that should not be crossed. When this happens, the offender departs the campaign and the remaining people continue on to salvage the contest. In this particular case, the candidate himself has crossed the line, and so therefore the candidate himself must duly resign and leave the party so that the remainders can continue to carry on the Democratic National Committee towards the Presidency that is rightfully deserved.
Hillary Clinton has taken a beating, an unfair and drawn out beating that no Presidential candidate deserves, and yet Hillary has made it through to the other side. Hillary has stood strong, in the face of opposition, and in the face of repeated and undeserved attacks, again and again. It is for these reasons that Hillary deserves the crown of being our next Democratic Presidential Candidate. Hillary has passed the test of the endless pounding by standing tall against all odds and it is for this reason that she is most fit to take on Mr. McCain in the General Election.
Governor Dean and DNC, Please align yourself with that which is right. That which is our future. Align yourself in support of Hillary Clinton for President.

The President is responsible for upholding the Flag of the United States. Obama’s “refusing” to wear the flag on his chest shows there is a problem with his character as he’s displaying the hatred he has for America and everything that has happened for the past 200+ years to make America what it is today. No childish game of defacing the flag should be tolerated by a person who is trying to become the #1 Patriot in the land. No person that desecrates our stars and stripes should be allowed the responsibility of protection our Constitution and our way of life. Ask Obama, if wearing the flag does not show patriotism, why are soldiers and presidents that are no longer with us having their coffins draped in the colors of the United States? Believe in separation of Church and Politics? How about Obama’s Church? But then when a campaign works against two ENTIRE states loosing their right to vote in the Presidential Primaries, I guess an investigation by the IRS for breech of church-non-profit status is to be expected. Everyone makes mistakes and flubs up, but when the same patterns of flubs continue to reappear, it becomes obvious what a person’s true character is all about.

I agree with all these posts, America is about to make another huge mistake. Obama is all words, no experience, and slippery to the core with racism, and un patriotic history. But, yet he has gotten a free pass, Geraldine Ferrao was right and she got pasted. Our country and this world in its last days, our environment is a non issue, soldiers dying for a lie, and our borders are so transparent a terrorist can walk right in no questions asked. Hillary is a very strong person, people bash her because of her husbands sexual mis deeds. It time we put away our holier than thou issues and place what’s right for the country first. Go Hillary.
