Official wants Obama to pay fees for Reading rally

A Reading school board member says he doesn’t think it was legal for the district to waive fees associated with a Barack Obama rally at the high school.

William F. Cinfici says waiving the fees associated with the April rally represents an in-kind donation to the Democrat’s campaign. He says that’s illegal and unfair to taxpayers.

Other board members say the decision to waive the fees is not illegal. School officials say they don’t know exactly how much the fees would total.

Cinfici has asked the board’s solicitor to look into whether it was legal.

Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton held a rally at nearby Wilson High School and was charged $6,460.

Governments own nothing except for what it takes from others. Since there is a cost involved to a political candidate running for office and NOT for the cause of his constituents it is a cost taxpayers should not incur.

All liberals think they

All liberals think they should get a free ride. Come to think of it, they already do.
Now, they want to travel first class.

Useless Rubbish

You, sir, are making me wish that I were still what you deride as,” a liberal,” so I would have stronger will to castigate you for your dismal behavior. Your monolithic declarations are perfectly wrong, contemptible and indicative of foolishness so profound that I would expect you to revel in it. However are you to accomplish anything useful if you only blast out sweeping, vacuous condemnations rather than taking the care to persuade or inform? Your method will only make factions hate each other more and examine the wisdom of their beliefs less. Don’t be so worthless!

Of course you might be another person entirely from others who have made like declarations, the profusion of anonymity here makes it difficult to distinguish among correspondents, although you might as well be all the same for as much good as you do and as much diversity of thought as you show.
