PA-05: McCracken for Congress -- Come January 2009, We Must Remember What The American People Expect

Earlier this week I received an email from a 5th district voter with very strong pro-life beliefs who would like to vote for me. She told me via email that she is comfortable that I am Catholic and my stance on pro-life issues is similar to that of Sen. Robert Casey. She feels it is very likely Barack Obama will be elected President and the Democratic Party will gain seats Congress. Where her concern lies is what actions a newly inaugurated President Barack Obama and a United States Congress with a strong Democratic majority will take after January of 2009. She is afraid there will be a far left agenda that will attempt to overturn pro-life initiatives put into effect like the ban on partial birth abortions.  read more »

PA-05: McCracken for Congress--Before Any Bailouts Are Approved, There MUST Be Accountability

The last few weeks have seen our nation’s economic and financial institutions in the most critical condition since the days in 1929 when the stock market crashed and banks failed sending the country into the Great Depression. This morning I came upon an online headline that read “Bush team, Congress negotiate $700 Billion Bailout”. At first glance, the general public probably feels that this is welcome news. However, there are many troubling details about this plan by the lame duck Bush administration that the American people need to be aware of. Below are some of the details about the plan found online at http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080921/D93AVJUO0….  read more »

Spend Bush Stimulus on his replacement -- Hillary!

Hillary: $3 Million raised in last three hours!

Keep it up!

It’s time to refill the coffers!

Here’s an idea, give half of the “stimulus” check that George W is sending you to Hillary. Keep half of this money for yourself, and use the other half to put the person in the White House that will change your life!

Think about it.

How much of a slap in Bush’s face is it to fund Hillary with money he sent to you?!

I owe this idea to my partner, and it’s a great one!

How much will Hillary raise by morning? It’s up to you!

Pledge to her campaign through this link.

Don’t just hope for change, Vote for it!
Hillary 2008!

PA 05 - McCracken for Congress – Progress Report – 3/6/2008

This week, I came across the saying “Before you try to tell someone how much know, show them how much you care.” I think that sums up what every political candidate should do when trying to connect with voters.

Early last week, I spoke with a family in DuBois about my campaign and what they felt was the biggest problem they are facing. Without hesitation, the mother said “Mark, the rising cost of gas and heating oil is making it tough on my family.”. Another person told me when we talked about the stimulus checks that Washington will be sending out “I hope I get mine soon, I need another tank of oil to get through the cold months.”.  read more »
